Lawyers for footballer Ashley Cole will head to court today after he sued a newspaper group over claims about his sex life.
The Chelsea defender, who is married to Girls Aloud's Cheryl Cole, wants £200,000 from the Daily Mirror and Sunday Mirror.
He is suing for invasion of privacy after the newspapers alleged he had sex with three different women in stories printed earlier this year.
The footballer's solicitors claim some of the information was invented and the eight stories contained confidential information.
They also say the stories breached his right to privacy under European human rights laws - which they argue outweighs the Mirror Group's right to freedom of expression.
The 27-year-old, who also filed a similar claim against The Sun, said he was embarrassed and "gravely distressed" over the stories, which affected his wife.
The legal action will go before the judges at London's High Court at 12pm.
